What is ContainerKing© self storage?
It is the provision of do-it-yourself storage space for business and domestic customers. All units are clean, dry and available in different sizes. You are the only person with a key to your unit and access is unlimited 24/7.
How easy is access to my self storage unit?
Because of our size we can offer vehicle acces to all of our units. Therefore, Unlike other self storage facilities, you will not need to use trolleys or navigate narrow corridors to get to your belongings, saving time and energy.
Do I need to bring anything with me?
Two forms of Identity - Usually a driving license or passport and a utility bill. One months advance rental is required.
How can I pay?
Payment can be made by Cheque, Cash, Standing order and BACS. Most medium to long term customers prefer to pay via standing order automatic payment card mandate for convenience.
Do I pay weekly or monthly?
You wil be invoiced calendar monthly and in advance. Therefore if you move in on the 8th of the month, your advance payment will see you through until the 8th of teh following month and so on.
Is there a minimum storage period?
Yes. The minimum storage period is one month. You are free to vacate any time but no refund is given for unused storage days within the first month.
What happens when I want to vacate my unit?
We require only 48 hours notice prior to you vacating your unit. Beyond our first month minimum storage period you will be refunded for any unused storage time.
Are there any hidden extras?
Absolutely not! There are no hidden surprises. You will pay the first month's rent when you move in and that's it. We will invoice you on a monthly basis for your normal payment and after that we cover all rates, utility bills and maintenance costs.
