Case Study: SPI / NDT Limited, Lincolnshire
When Bowden, Managing Director of SPI / NDT Limited, a respected Lincolnshire Based business specializing in X-Radiography, Gamma-Radiography, Heat Treatment, Hardness Testing, Ultrasonic Inspection, Welding Inspection etc needed a new bespoke unit for a long term contract at West Burton Power Station. Containerking won the contract to supply the unit.
After initial discussions about type, construction and size of cabin needed, Containerking provided a fixed price quotation to completely over hall and refurbish an existing anti-vandal drying room unit which suited the configuration and layout plans provided.
Along with all internal requirements, partition wall position, base & sink unit, window positions, floor finish electrical requirements and external colour finish etc etc we agreed on a completion and delivery date which gave us 3 days to complete the work from start to finish!
From the procurement of un-stocked materials “paint and floor covering” to organisation of external labour for the electrics, we were up against it to meet the completion deadline.
The initial unit was ordered on the Thursday and delivered 1st thing Monday morning!!
The guys did their usual excellent job, from the initial re preparation of existing external paint finish to the completed job, they pulled together and should be justifiably proud of their efforts and working through another long weekend.
They never let us down and do our business proud.
Of the obvious options open to us, Ravenstock and Elliott Hire who are alternate local based but national suppliers, only Containerking demonstrated the willing and desire to provide us with exactly what we needed. I was extremely impressed by the attitude of Steve and the staff at Containerking, it’s the first time we had use this business but it wasn’t going be the last. Since our first unit was delivered we have had recently instructed Containerking to convert a similar unit to the same specification and very high standard of workmanship
